The Torque series has set the standard in machining and drag at a reasonable price to two decades, and has been under contant improvement over that period. The Torque has been imitated, if not blatantly copied by numerous large companies. They cannot duplicate the original nor can they offer the service and quality people of Galvan fly reels. Galvan introduced the T-7 and T-9 sizes recently and that has made this series even better. We love the ability to hone in on an anglers type of fishing in as specific way a possible during the gear outfitting process. Premium gear comes with a price, so get what you pay by owning exactly what will make your days on the water better.
Performance is the name of the game with the Torque. It is a wonderful saltwater and freshwater reel, and has all the things you want. Super reliable carbon fiber + thermoplastic drag system, easy on and off with the spool, fast retreive rate, high backing capacity, and remarkable machining. All made in California by a great company who backs up their product quickly and easily.
We stock the Galvan Torque in the clear anodization because we believe it matches the reels design well by not showing wear and tear of fishing hard. That being said, we are happy to order any color available from Galvan. Spools also available.
