Our favorite streamer taper for all but the hottest pursuits, the Rio Elite Predator F/H/I is the ultimate line for fishing just below the surface. The dark green, trancslucent tip is 10' long followed by another 10' of hover leading into floating. The head length is 34' total.
We have used this line extensively for bass and trout, and we absolutely love it. There is a lot of mass back in the head allowing for precise control and ease of roll casting in tight situations. Rio has put the perfect amount of mass towards the tip allowing for easy, breezy loading at close range.
Also available with faster sinking tips, we stock the floating version as well. We are just as big of fans of the floating Predator and use it everyday we are on the water bass fishing.
