Balance leeches and minnows are starting to take over stillwater fishing in both cold and warm water situations. For slower presentations, it gives a much more realistic imitation to the way the real thing behaves. Using a jig hook, simply attach it to the shank so the pin extends forward and keep tying past the eye of the hook itself to your hearts content.
