Walter's Weakness brings variables together that typically remain far and distant from each other. He is a real water pusher, with incredible durability. His large profile gets down to the action quick, and his tail kicks like a mule. The buoyancy of the rubber legs acts like a swim bladder, keeping the fly on plane throughout the retrieve for true "swim". We use adhesives to harden and mold the heads on the weakness', and will often re-glue after a hard days work.
Walter is tied on the Ahrex TP610 and we use a lightly larger hook to increase purchase over the brass eyes within his melon.
